Who we are
This website is operated by Aerologix Global (“we”, “us”), based in Dubai, UAE. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us and the minimum technical data needed to run the site:
- Enquiry forms. Your name, email address and message are required. Company, phone number, service of interest and, on the logistics form, shipment origin and destination are optional.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp. Any details you share when you email, call or message us, including calls to the AOG desk. If you message us on WhatsApp, we see the name and phone number on your account along with your messages.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request data in server logs, for security and to deliver the site.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, arrange services you request, and keep business records. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interest in running our business, and our legal obligations, including trade-compliance checks such as sanctions and restricted-party screening. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
- Our online form provider processes form submissions and passes them to us.
- Our email provider hosts our business email.
- Our website hosting provider hosts and delivers this website.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there, handles your messages under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Freight, warehousing and other partners receive only the details needed to carry out a service you request.
- Authorities and professional advisers may receive data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
Some of these providers are based outside the UAE, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. The site stores two small, non-personal flags in your browser session: one so the loading animation does not repeat on every page, and one so the website assistant knows it has already introduced itself during your visit. They do not identify you. What you type into the assistant is answered in your browser and is not stored or sent to us.
Google Map
The Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, under Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not control this. If you prefer to avoid it, you can skip the Contact page and email or call us instead, or open our location from the link in the site footer.
The WhatsApp links on this site (the footer, the Contact page and the mobile quick-action bar) open WhatsApp in a new tab or app. Nothing is sent to WhatsApp until you click one. After that, your messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, and we use what you send only to respond to you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed for the purposes above, including any period required by law or by aviation record-keeping obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the EU and UK GDPR, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security and links
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no online transmission is completely secure. This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and the Aviation Suppliers Association, which have their own privacy policies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
